Strategy for reaching out to our own community in compassion and witness

We focus on activities and events that impact our local community. Several ministries build bridges to people in the community:

• Vacation Bible School in June each year
• MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
• Kids programs every Tuesday evening for the children ages 3- 5th grade
• College/career outreach to students at CSU
• Car Care Clinic for single mothers in September each year.

Our church also sponsors special programs to which we can confidently invite friends and family. These include: Christmas and Easter Musicals, and Marriage and Spiritual Life conferences.

We promote outreach to international students in cooperation with International Students, Inc. (ISI).

We hold a dinner for students and scholars on the first Friday of every month. This is a great time of food, fellowship, and sharing in the context of the local church.

We also provide free classes in conversational English on Tuesday evenings. Baby-sitting is also provided for those with children.

Our church is currently in contact with Nueva Creacion, Spanish-speaking church, seeking to encourage and support them in their ministry and outreach.
