Earthquake in Haiti
Missions Door, a branch of CBAmerica, has had effective ministry in Haiti for many years, capably led by indigenous Haitian missionaries. Their five missionaries are alive but shaken. Two experienced physical injuries but they will recover. Missions Door will be sending their Caribbean Ministry Coordinator, and their Vice President of Ministries for the Caribbean and Latin America, to Haiti this week. They will take initial relief funds for the immediate needs of food, medicine and shelter. As they come alongside the missionaries to comfort and encourage them, they will also work with the Missions Door team to develop immediate and longer-term plans for assistance.
